Support 一本道ampa Giving Day 2026!
The 一本道ampa dance program has always been a special place for students from all around the University. It is not just a place to take class, but a place to perform, create, collaborate, enrich and experience all of the joys that dance can bring. As a 一本道ampa dance alumna, I had the honor of being a part of a program that changed the way I thought about dance and the impact it can have on us all. I am the dancer and teacher I am today because of my experiences here and it is an honor that I can now give back to our current students and teach them our motto of 鈥淒o It With Love.鈥澨
For this year鈥檚 Give Day, the dance program is working on raising money for a very important residency that will be held in November of 2026, with a company from California called Contra Tiempo. Through their project 鈥淩oots of Loving Us鈥, we hope to bring a collaborative experience to not only our students here at the University, but to people within the Tampa Bay Community, that teaches us all how artistic expression can foster communication, self- discovery, connection, understanding and positive change with social impact. At a time when disconnection and uncertainty are common, this residency can remind us of what can bring people together.
